Some people say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. However, many people don’t eat it. And many of those who do, don’t eat anything healthy.
Maybe this is because people don’t know the right breakfast vocabulary? :)

A very common breakfast in the U.S. is cereal. It’s fast and healthy. If people need a really fast meal, sometimes they will eat muffins, toast, fruit, yogurt or a bagel.
When people want a larger breakfast (usually on the weekend) they might have a combination of eggs, hash browns, bacon and sausage.
Other common big breakfasts are pancakes, waffles or French toast. All are good with butter and maple syrup, or with a fruit topping like strawberries or peaches. Pancakes, waffles and French toast are very filling and might keep you from being hungry until dinner time!
Common breakfast drinks are juice, milk or coffee.
Every person has a different opinion on what a good breakfast is. As long as you eat something healthy, you should feel good. Remember, not eating anything isn’t good for you!
