@arabhamid: You say that the name is not important, when I believe that it is. If you're claiming that a people has roots to a certain place, it has to make sense. Is the name 'Filistin' (Palestine) an Arab name? Is it of Arab origin? Where does it come from? Who gave it that name? The claim is not that all of the Arabs in Palestine came there because of Zionist entreprises, but that a large number did, increasing the number of Arabs in the area by hundreds of thousands. This is reflected by the population census in the province. Again, even before the Zionist movement, Jews had steadily started coming back and set up communities there. The mystical community in Safed is an example. Quote: "Zionists could throw most of arabs from their lands, and only a small part could remain, not because Zionists let them, but because they couldn’t throw them, and sure Israelis want to throw them using all indirect ways, like taking their identity cards, plan to exchange lands, and making recist laws against them. " If Israel had wanted to throw them out in 1948, it could have done very easily. That was never the intention. The simple explanation is that many left, as happens in any war. There are always refugees. The fact that the Arabs lost the war meant that they could not come back. After the war, the Arabs that remained within Israel's borders were given full citizenship and democratic rights within the state of Israel. The Arabs within Israel enjoy more rights than other Arabs within their own countries. Ask them. Ask them whether they would prefer to live anywhere else. Quote: "If you are claiming that the name “Palestine” is fake, why did most of the Jewish organisations using the name of Palestine in their LOGO!!" Because it was the de-facto name of a province, not of any historical country or people. You're fooling yourself arabhamid. I'm not a racist. My problem with the Arabs is merely political. Again, what you're saying does not match reality. The Jews from Arab countries tend to be among the most militant Zionists, not the Europeans who are often more conciliatory and liberal. The Jews from Arab countries tend to be very angry about what they experienced in the Arab countries before leaving and do not necessarily have any more love for you people than Ashkenazim. I will repeat: The majority of Jews in Israel are of Middle Eastern origin, not European.
